Feel Good Fascia: Movement for Body & Mind

What if feeling better in your body wasn’t about doing more, but about moving your body differently? Feel Good Fascia brings people together to explore movement, release tension and discover new ways to feel more comfortable and at ease in their bodies.

What is fascia?

Fascia is the remarkable connective tissue that wraps around and weaves through our muscles, bones, nerves and organs, connecting the body from head to toe.

Once thought of as little more than the body’s packaging material, fascia is now recognised as a living, responsive tissue, rich in sensory nerve endings. It plays an important role in movement, flexibility and how we experience sensations in our bodies.

What happens in a class?

Having discovered the fascinating potential of fascia through teaching hypopressives, I went on to train with Human Garage in Fascial Maneuvers.

Unlike conventional stretching, these gentle movements incorporate twists, spirals, breath and intention. We work sitting, standing or both, exploring movements for the whole body as well as specific areas such as the jaw, shoulders or wrists.

People often leave feeling lighter, more mobile and deeply relaxed. Fascia-focused movement is also being explored in somatic and trauma-informed approaches, where people may experience physical and emotional relief.

Best of all, you’ll learn simple techniques to use at home, giving you new ways to look after your body and wellbeing.

Whether you’re hoping to ease tension, improve mobility or simply enjoy some time to reconnect with yourself, you’re warmly invited to come and explore Feel Good Fascia at Raggy Dolls.
